“There is no mention anywhere in his [Paulson’s } book of how the crisis was built on the backs of consumers—abused and trampled upon by a banking sector that brags about “ripping the faces off” its customers. And Paulson does not discuss the need for consumer protection vis-à-vis financial products. It’s almost as if he is on a different planet.”

Simon Johnson, Inside M an, review of Hank Paulson’s ON THE BRINK.
