Do you ever get the feeling that international corporations hold much more power in this world than our governments? We complain that the corporations influence elections etc. But I am starting to feel that even independent minded pols cannot wield much power compared to the corporations–who do what they want, when and where they want. Its enough to make me a closet survialist.

  2. Coming out of the closet, David? Yes, I agree about corporations. Many corporations have ‘security’ forces which make them significant non-state actors from a force projection point of view. (Nice language, huh?) Many multi-nationals have been much more powerful in the countries they operate in than those sates are. Is this why the USoA looks more and more like a Third World country? Let me say it: BP.

    thanks for you comment, David.
